Hey! Myself and some other Next employees were out looking fabulous last Friday at 8081‘s party for Donte Whitner. Check out the pics below and we hope to see you out wearing fresh Next garments and partying it up!
Nudies are arriving… two styles just landed at Next Beachwood! Catch up…
This dude is raw! I thought I was trippin just watchin these tricks go down:
Saw that joint over at Frank.
And speaking of psychedelia, tonight the greatest 60′s style psychedelic rock band operating today is performing at the Grog Shop. King Khan and the Shrines will be rocking out in full effect tonight, and tickets are only $10. Don’t miss out!

A new version of the popular social networking site Facebook is going to be launching anyday now. The overall setup is a little difficult to get used to, but overall it isn’t too much different. The big focus with the changes seems to be toning down pesky applications that people went crazy for. Pointless apps added to the Myspace-ing and dumbing down of Facebook in the first place, so to me this is a good thing. If you want a full report on the changes, see Techcrunch’s report. If you want to skip the details and just see for yourself, just log into www.new.facebook.com.
The homie Mick Boogie just recently got back from a stint of events at Nike HQ in Oregon. Take a look at the video of his travels below or have a look over at his blog.

The new Alife x Reebok Collaboration that has had us salivating for so long has finally arrived. Literally, we just packed them out of the box and i took pics of them. Here’s a little slide show and they should be in Next Beachwood in a few hours. They will be selling for $130.

YO! Guess what? Steve, lucky shoe buyer that he is, received 12 tickets to Vans Warped Tour the other day. The only thing is, he doesn’t really like punk rock and doesn’t have a dozen friends to push these off on, so we’re giving them out for free at our Next Beachwood location!
The tickets will be first come first serve (no more than 2 per person) and will be available at 2 o’clock. Come pick up a pair and head down to Warped Tour 2008!
The concert goes on all day today and features the likes of Say Anything, The Academy Is…, Set Your Goals, Story of the Year, Against Me!, Angels and Airwaves, Gym Class Heroes, and even rapper MURS!

HighSnobette, the female counter-part/spinoff of Highsnobiety just posted a little interview with Married to the Mob founder Leah Sweeney. She discusses the first line of cut and sew pieces that will be shipping out September 1st, and the growth of her brand out of her apartment and into an office space in the Empire State building.

I guess I can finally release this picture now, since the big boys finally did. There’s a video to check out on the project over there as well. More shots when it lands!

This isn’t just for streetwear blogs. JSpear and The Hunters got it up too.
To follow up the post on the Nas x Alife Collaboration, here’s a vid from Nas doing an Alife session.
