Lebron Event: Shoe Allocations

Once again, Next would like to thank all those people who came out to support the event. Especially those people who endured the cold and camped out the night before the event.  I understand that there is some disappointment that not all 100 units were available at the time of the release. Unfortunately, Nike had a last minute request for 16 units(4 sets) of shoes that they had to remove from our allocation. It was not something that had been planned, nor was it something that we at Next could control. I understand that some of you were not able to get a shoe because of this, and for that we apologize. Again, it was not something that we at Next could control.
Despite that, we hope everyone had an enjoyable time.

I have to say i wated all night and if i didnt get my size I woould have been furious. It may have been beyond your control, but so is all the negative feedback too

I hope you guys realize how much shitty publicity you are getting for screwing people over who waited hours in line for the pairs (including me and my girlfriend). Come to find out that lebron is taking 16 pairs, and then those two fools in the striped sweatshirts who you let in before anyone else to have first picks. Thanks a lot, I’m glad NEXT and Nike are looking out for their supporters. Oh ya, I was happy to see Lebron there too.
I hope you can catch onto my sarcasm.

btw, the ladies behind the counter were giving out the wrong drawstring bags that were supposed to match the shoes. I ended up with a “business” drawstring bag with my “athlete” shoes. Is there anything that can be done about this mistake?

Guys I understand that you are very upset over the way the release went down. There is enough blame to go around. We certainly did not handle the line effectively, and two people were able to get in ahead of their turn. They were let in, not knowing that they would go to the front of the line. Our mistake, and their poor judgment to jump the line. Ultimately their actions look bad for us.
As for the shoes that were pulled prior to the event? Unfortunately we had no control over this. All we could do is voice our disapproval, and that WE DID. As you might imagine, Next(a small local store in Cleveland), does not have the ability, nor the desire to get in between Nike and the desires of their major athletes!!!
All we can do is work to improve, and help ensure that future events go off better.
We always strive to provide a premium experience for our customers.
We obviously don’t always succeed.

Nikehead:
We are working on the cinch bag issue. I am trying to see if I can get you the correct one. We did not have any available at the store. I will keep you posted.

Wow, all of this is terrible. And it’s really good of LeBron to go see a screening of Saw V at 9:50 PM instead of going to see the movie. Nice move ‘Bron.

i think it’s the least you could do if i could get the correct bag, i can bring my receipt to show my proof of purchase and everything. I have been a customer of NEXT for over a year now, buying from your Shaker, Akron (before it closed), Beechwood, and Randall store and i hate to see what has happened with this recent release because i did have fun minus the whole 82 pair situation.
thanks

Time to “next” next Cleveland. Wake up, Next is a joke, consistently marking up retail on Nikes’s, actiing like they are all about their customers. I don’t care who did it, Nike or Next, Next is a total joke, a sliver above the schmos at City Blue. This is the respect we get in Cuyahoga: 8% tax, above retail prices on everything, horrible staff, behind weeks on fashion. I’m done supporting theives in Theiveland, driving to Beachwood for air max, North Randall or Shaker for Brons, trying to make amends. The bloggers are ripping you all new ones, showing no love for the hometeam. NEEEEEXXXT!

Next is a joke, you won’t even publish this, cause you know I got your number. Quit robbing the people in Cleveland, I know who runs the show, you are a bunch of jokers with whack hypebeast clothes. You are still getting killed on blogs as you should. I predict Randall to be the first to go, then Richmond. and please, stop selling 24 dollar LRG shirt for 32 bucks, you guys are worse then metropark.

To Nextinline & NEEEEEXXXT!
Thanks for the feedback. Very well articulated! I must say that anonymous posts are a waste of time. My phone number is up. I work at the Shaker Square store most of the time. Come in and talk about it.
As for over charging for Nike? We use the suggested Nike price on Nike with very few exceptions. Maybe you are confusing the pricing of Nike shoes on Ebay, being sold by some of our “customers?”

Get over it, if you don’t like the prices then stop shopping there, a few mad people isn’t going to put them out of business, grow up.

Sold my size 10.5 Lebron VI Business for $350 plus shipping! I am still pissed with how things went down. I am also still waiting to see what the Nike rep is going to come up with. She has contacted me twice by email but no answers yet.
