CeCe is one of my favorite people in the industry, and her women’s footwear brand 80%20 is definitely on the rise. We have featured it in our stores for two seasons now, and Spring 2009 is going to be the best ever. Take a look at this interview with Self+Made. For all of you aspiring entrepreneurs out there… take notes!

Alife opened a new location in Hollywood, replacing the Fairfax store with a full blown retail operation in Cahuenga Boulevard shopping center.
Here’s the pic I snuck of the now defunct Fairfax location when I was in Cali. That dude in the back yelled at me right after I took it.
Good news Next fans. The “Black Friday AF1 by Clark Kent is coming to Cleveland at Next. It released on Nov 28th to only 3 doors nationwide, with Clark going to each store in one day. Now it releases for real on Dec 20th. Stay tuned…
Check out this very funny video with Clark and his very Japanese host.
The black Nike Zoom LeBron VI is next LeBron shoe to hit the streets. As always, an all black shoe is great for on or off the court. These are the shoes that are featured on the “Chalk” commercial with LeBron and Lil Wayne. If you have not seen the t.v add, we have it up on our site as well. Here are some detailed pics of the shoe.
Check out these New Era fitteds Alife is dropping. You may remember the Reebok pump collaborations that came out a while back, and these caps get the same fuzzy tennis ball treatment. Dope.
Warner Brothers recently green lit two live action remakes of Akira to be produced by Leonardo Decaprio’s company Appian Way. Word is Leo will star as Kaneda and it will be shot in a Neo Manhattan as opposed to Neo Tokyo setting. It has been described as “Blade Runner meets City of God”… and that sounds awesome to me.
Caught this Jet Pack Man video the other day. This guy flew over a canyon in Colorado for 21 seconds over 1500 feet and set a new world record. What a rush that would be!
