I feel like I don’t need to say a lot about these sneakers. They are the Air Jordan 7 worn by Mike in the 91-92 season. The season he won his 3rd MVP and 2nd NBA Championship. Next will be receiving a shipment of this pack in August. Be on the lookout, and for the quickest updates of sneakers hitting the sales floor follow ruleofnext on Twitter.

Arts and Culture magazine Juxtapoz spent a day with streetwear legend and founder of Stussy, Shawn Stussy. They have a nice write-up and dope collection of photos here.

I call this sneaker the Penny Spizike because it is designed using inspiration from five other Penny Hardaway sneakers. The Penny 1, 2, 3, 4 and of course the Foamposite One. This is by far one of the best Hybrid/Fusions Nike has released in my opinion. Next will be receiving a shipment of this shoe in August. Just to let you all know, this sneaker is already being resold for $50-60 over retail. So act quickly, and get them for retail when they land.

Frightened Rabbit is a rock group from Scotland that I’ve been digging for quite some time now. Their album Midnight Organ Fight is a emotional, alcohol-soaked record of folk rock that strikes a cord with me. Check out “Good Arms vs. Bad Arms” for a taste.

One of my favorite singers- not just of soul music, but of all time- is Sam Cooke. There’s something about the simplicity of soul and gospel oldies like this that is soothing and relaxing, and Mr. Cooke was unparalleled in his day.

OK, so this song I have no idea where it came from, what it was supposed to be on, or when it came out. I literally just found it on my hard drive one day and realized it was good. It’s Nas, produced by Kanye, and it just consists of a simple loop crescendo and profound story. I can’t even tell you why I think it’s so dope– it just is. Anyone know where this came from? Clue me in please.

The Astor fuses fashion-forward thinking with classic sport lifestyle shoe, elevating a combined perspective of fashion and sport. Built on a minimalist couture court sole, the Astor features a fully ribbed upper and tongue with a leatherhook-and-loop closure. PF has three colorways set to release this month, and of course Next will be receiving a shipment soon. Check the jump for more pics of the other colorways.
