A new hot shoe we have in is the United Nude “Fold” style. These are some thoughtful shoes that aim to blend new age design with fashion and functionality.

Cleveland born Michael Williams had a nice interview with Levi’s Archivist Lynn Downey on his blog A Continuous Lean. Since we’ve had a knack for posting about the intracacies of the 501 before, this is definitely a recommended read for anyone interested in the history of denim.
Cleveland Heights crew Keyel has released their first official mixtape, entitled Volume One. Its as equally dope as it is original, and was created in conjunction with Another Enemy and fellow Coventry boutique Heart & Sole. Support local streetwear, support local music. Take a listen.
The Next staff visited the B-Side liquor lounge on Coventry for a night of talented emcees, poets, and singers. The mic is open to anyone that wants to show their unique view on life, but the host, One Truth, (pictured above) requires all performers to be thoughtful in their view.
I heard about this event through Next Richmond Manager Ant Jones who will often grace the mic with his own poetry. He explained how “Lyrical Rhythm” has been going on for 10 years and how important  One Truth and Q-Nice are to the success of the event.

I hadn’t really been paying too much attention to this movie because I haven’t read the book in like 15 years or something, but I caught a glimpse on TV I had to inspect more. This movie looks good, real good. Dope song too. Spike Jonze was a great fit for this and I can’t wait to check it out.
