Over the next few months Adidas will be releasing 3 augmented reality games that 5 new Adidas sneakers will serve as a key to unlock the game and as a controller. Sounds crazy right? But it’s true. The technology is just beginning to spring up this year, but basically your computer’s webcam reacts in real time to a design embedded on the tongue of the shoe, enabling you to explore a 3D world similar to a video game. No images of the shoes themselves, but the accompanying technology seems pretty interesting.

From Eighty81, we have the long awaited video from Columbus’ Fly Union, featuring Big Sean. The video was shot right here in Cleveland with cameo’s from some of our favorite stores, Brigade and Heart and Sole, along with appearances from lots of local faces! Great job to everyone involved.
10 Deep‘s skate team shot a nice little promo video while they were messing around skating in Chinatown. They also sing a riveting rendition of Matt & Kim’s “Daylight” in the background.
DJ Steph Floss is still on his vlog quest, and in this edition films the Iron Fresh competition and our owner Rob. Congratulations to Duck, who took home the first place prize. The real winners were the Cleveland Food Bank, as over $1000 were raised to help feed those in need. Thanks to everyone who came out to support!
Here’s a screen capture from a really cool interactive panoramic photo of Prague. It’s the world’s largest panoramic and weighs in at a whopping 18 GP, thats 18 GIGAPIXELS. The detail on this thing is ridiculous. You can literally peer into someone’s window in just about any building you see in the photo. Not that I would do that personally… but you know, you could if you wanted to.
