A Single Man

Famous designer and ex-creative director of Gucci, Tom Ford, tries his hand at Hollywood with the big screen adaptation of Christopher Isherwood’s novel “A Single Man”.

The film, starring Colin Firth, Julliane Moore, and Nicholas Hoult depicts the lives of three individuals who are all in their own way “lonely”. Through the interactions between the characters, the inevitable feeling of human isolation is explored. The characters ages and genders vary, making the film easily relatable to almost everyone.

Even if the the story line isnt your cup or tea, the cinematography and visuals are quite impressive. This is a film that I would highly recommend to everyone. It is still playing at the Cedar Lee in Cleveland Heights. Check it out.

Orisue Fall 2010 Preview

Here are a couple of highlights of what Orisue has coming for this Fall. I was really impressed with their Fall offering. They have added a larger raw denim selection, at multiple price points and several different fits.

Their outerwear and knit selection is once again on point, and they continue to maintain a certain level of creative design with all of their pieces. In other words, Orisue looks like no other streetwear/contemporary clothing brand I am familiar with.

I think that all of these products are Dy-no-mite! What do you think? Am I right?

Ok, so my brother sent me this video, its called Drinking Out Of Cups, the premise is this: a guy is tripping on acid and talking all kinds of crazy. So they use an animated  lizard to show what the guy was saying. I am not sure if its real or not, but it is very funny. With over 6 million views I am not the only who thinks that it hilarious.

I’m not really sure who’s hip to these services, but I’m surprised I haven’t seen folks in my Twitter timeline using them more. Instead of just tagging #MusicMonday or #nowplaying, try enriching your tweets with a link to share the song to your followers and they can listen in as well. After the jump are the the two tools I use most frequently to spread music through Twitter.

NOTE: This is a reblog of mine from last week on Eighty81.

Pictured above is a small selection of 10 Deep’s Fall 2010 line. I keep thinking that 10 Deep is going to let me down, but they still haven’t. They continue to stay relevant, by producing creative, high quality product.

I want to know what you think. Some of these products I am still on the fence with. For example, what do you think of the denim vest?
