This duo is set to explode. Alexis Kraus and Derek Miller are Sleigh Bells. A crazy combination of punk rock, hip hop, and pop, their new record Treats is siiiiick. Serious go-ham-music, it combines crunching guitars, hard drums, and female pop vocals for some catchy effects. Be on the look out for these kids.
Not sure how or why I didn’t get around to posting this, but its Akron’s own The Black Keys new single. Their new album Brothers will land in stores next Tuesday, May 18th. This track is pretty solid, evoking that Ex-to-the-Next feel and employing a clever dino-pitchman for the video. Looking forward to hearing these guys next offering…
More new music from local artists Bravo featuring Darren Anthony on the hook. Both of these guys have been doing their thing for a minute in Cleveland now, and this joint is off Bravo’s upcoming release “Grey Area”.

Hahaha. Ok. So I’m not sure if this is the lamest thing I’ve ever seen or if its actually kinda cool. A little of both I guess, but one thing is for sure… this guy has way too much time on his hands. Its sort of dope he made a guitar out of 2 Androids, 2 Windows phones, and an iPod Touch, but his musical rendition of “Cracklin’ Rosie” leaves a lot to be desired. Kudos for the effort though homeboy.
