I can’t say enough good things about the “Give Up The Sticks” Mixtape from the DiViNE MiNDS x SoulKlap camp. The listening party last week was just as great, we had the classics on Sega Genesis & Nintendo 64 for good measure. A huge thank you to everyone who came out this past Saturday to the scavenger hunt. Our five winners were (in order from first to fifth) Allan, Leslie, Adam, Jake and Katie. I was really impressed by how fast you guys finished! Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we here at Next did.

Next Coventry, the official Timberland Outpost in Cleveland, will be holding a Scavenger Hunt in collaboration with Timberland on Saturday, September 25th from 12-7. There will be 8 locations around the Coventry area in which markers will be left. Contestants will be supplied with clues and required to take pictures of each of the 8 markers to win. Winners will receive a free pair of Timberland Boots, and a substantial gift card to Next Coventry.

While I was at Next Coventry today, Bobby came in with his crew looking to get fitted for his boy Kiko’s show happening later tonight in Lorain @ Club Steel City. If you don’t already have plans, come out and support local hip-hop!

It’s that time for HTBITHDJ event. Sunday Sept 5th at NEXT on Coventry from 5-8pm come hang out with the tastemakers of Cleveland. ladies get 20% and guys get 10% off all purchases. All artist from 5-6pm bring a track for everybody to listen to. Performing will also be Ray Jr.,Ray Grizzel and Chick Da Flyest and So Fowl.
The whole event is from 5-8pm and will no longer be on Saturday’s. It will be on a Sunday of our choice. So this is your time to network and get your music heard. TAKE ADVANTAGE. YOUR SONG HAS TO BE ON A JUMP DRIVE. NOT A CD OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT GET PLAYED.
