Soulklap “Klapisms Vol. 1″ Drops Today

I was first introduced to Soulklap AKA Lamone Green when I heard his collaboration mixtape with Divine Minds called “Give Up The Sticks.” I was instantly hyped on his music. This isn’t your average hip-hop; this is intelligent, conscious and self-aware hip-hop that can be a welcome relief from the overcrowded, fake-street rap that seems to spread like wildfire. Recently accepted into NYU’s prestigious Music Business program, even bigger things are undoubtedly coming from Souklap.
Note to all aspiring MCs: Soulklap puts all of this music on the internet for free on this nice site called BandCamp. Follow his example and do the same. Passing out mixtapes in Cleveland is only going to get you so far, BandCamp can help people discover you who would never normally do so.
