This interview dropped a few days ago, chronicling the Stussy store in Tokyo being designed by the one and only Eric Haze. It’s an insightful interview into the mind of a iconic graf artist.
“The most important thing is to try and travel the road you love and you will enjoy your life more. The results will show if you’re passionate about what you do.” Words to live by.

I’ve wanted to write something about the situation going on in Haiti. Up until now, I didn’t know what angle to take. I wanted to suggest good organizations to donate to, and which organizations might not be as productive as others, but during my research I found that there are several opposing opinions of most charity organizations. I didn’t want to add any confusion to the act of donation. So, I didn’t write anything. That being said I thought it might be positive to provide an organization and brand that you may not be aware of.

Recently, I was contacted by Anthony Thompson the creator of  GesuChristo Clothing. The idea behind GesuChristo Clothing is “One shirt, One Cause”. Their shirt is pictured above. Their cause is the earthquake disaster in Haiti. In particular, the In Touch Orphanage in St. Marc, Haiti. Anthony assured me that all profits from this offer will be donated to the In Touch Orphanage. To donate and order a tee shirt click here.

Keep GesuChristo on your radar this is not their first or last project. Their launch in 2008 focused on Kampala, Uganda and the “Never Again Project”. The founder of the orphanage began the “Never Again Project” after observing small children eating from garbage bins. He vowed they would “Never Again” eat from the city garbage. Through their first campaign GesuChristo Clothing was able to to feed nearly 50 young adults for 6 months.

Once again NIKE has opened its vault to re-release the Air Max 95. Designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, the Air Max 95 has become one of the most loved sneakers that Nike has ever produced.

Stated many times before, the inspiration for the shoe is the human anatomy. The mid sole represents the spine, graduated panels resemble muscles, lace loops are the ribs, and the mesh is the skin. At the time of its release many were skeptical of the Air Max 95 because of the price, yet it was never a factor. The Air Max 95 was the first sneaker by Nike to feature the Air Max cushioning system in both the heel and forefoot, it has been re-issued many times, and released in over 150 different colorways. Look for these in the coming months at NEXT
