Mí Collection Season 5
Mí Collection, the brainchild of Caij Milan, is a lifestyle brand inspired by the underground creative community. The brand aspires to push out of the box and move in different directions.
Mí Collection can be identified by the brand's iconic bear logos. The bears, Milo, Myez, and Myli, are inspired by the people around us, with the idea that everyone is cool and unique. Like their wearers, the bears continue to grow and develop with each collection.
Season 5 of Mí Collection features a camping theme. On pieces from the collection, Mí bears can be found wearing patterned puffer jackets and beanies, as well as setting up a campsite.
In addition to a variety of t-shirts and fanny packs, Season 5 of Mí Collection adds a lifestyle element, offering pillows that feature Caij's signature and Mí bears."If you always continue to work on something you have already mastered, you will never grow,' said designer, Caij Milan.
The 5th collection of Mí Collection dropped with a launch event at Rule of NEXT's Bedford location. Caij's event held the same theme as the collection, with a campsite installation.
ICECREAM Spring 2019 collection shoot @ Mitchell's Van Aken.
For Spring 2019, ICECREAM looks forward to warmer days with a collection inspired by vintage ice cream parlors and 90s pop culture references.
Beyond just on-body shots of models in product, our team wanted to play with the idea of ice cream. Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream was kind enough to allow us to use their newest Van Aken District location for our shoot.
The collection is characterized by pastel colors, relaxed fits, and bold branding.
GCDS (God Can't Destroy Streetwear)
GCDS was founded in 2015 by brothers Giuliano and Giordano Calza, who serve as Creative Director and CEO of the brand. Proudly designed and created in Milan, Italy, GCDS stands for "God Can't Destroy Streetwear" and features bold colors, ironic graphics, and catchy slogans.
The Spring/Summer 2019 collection of GCDS also plays with some irreverent Pokemon themes, including a co-branded Pikachu yellow sweater and other Pokemon-inspired graphics appearing on GCDS pieces.
“We decided to call it God Can’t Destroy Streetwear because it’s expressing something that’s going on.”
“We started in the field of fashion and everything is going black. It feels like we’re living in an interesting time in fashion, because we see a lot of things going bad—there are too many costs, and brands are not keeping up with the technology. I think kids are more and more into buying something that isn’t forever—and the theme of God is super-fun.”
- Giuliano Calza, Creative Director
To introduce this brand to Rule of Next, we did a shoot at the First Unitarian Church of Cleveland, to play with themes of darkness and light. The eyes serve as windows to the souls of angels and demons alike.
Calza attributes the rise of high-fashion streetwear as a rebellion against the pervasiveness fast fashion giants like Zara and H&M. By purposely creating something that is of the moment and not meant to last forever, GCDS captures the ethos of today's youth culture that is always looking for something Next.

Pleasures F/W18
No strangers to controversy and subversion, Pleasures has been turning heads since their Los Angeles based inception in 2015. Showcasing off-the-wall graphics and head-scratching text, Pleasures has been the "angsty" staple for celebrities and fashion aficionado's alike. Continuing the inspiration their founder has instilled, FW18 hits heavy with grunge and acid house aesthetics from Gen X Rave culture.
